Only two more matches left in the european zone for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. In group 7, Romania travells to their neighbours, Serbia, for the match against the group`s leader. Altough it might seems like Romania has nothing to fight for in this match, it`s not quite like this. Looking at the group table, we can see that Serbia, with a victory over Romania on saturday, will winn the group, no matter what France will be doing in their remaining matches. The reason for the roumanian team to win this match and the one against Feroe, is simple : Romania risks to be in the 3rd value group for the next draw, for Euro 2012. Exactly two years ago, when Romania played Bulgaria, at Sofia, in the last match for the Euro 2008 qualifiers, Romania was already the group`s winner. But, since they``ve lost at Sofia, resulted in Romania to be the first team in the second value group, instead of the last in the first one. Therefore, altough it may seem that Sserbia win will this match with ease, it might not be like the table shows us. Also, Adrian Mutu, who recently was delayed from paying Chelsea CF 17 million EUR, will be playing for the romanian team, after a very bad period, both mentally and physically.

Two scandinavian teams in th same qualifying group is not something any team wants. Portugal knows is bets now. Being third, two points behind Sweden and five behind Denmark, Portugal has few chances of going to South Africa next year. For Real Madrid, this would result in a big buget loss, since Cristiano Ronaldo, their star, is also Portugal`s no.1 player.
5 years ago, at Euro 2004, these two teams were in a similar situation; they needed a draw (preferably 2-2) in oreder to qualify for the quarterfinals. The result ? As some of you might remember, the final score was exactly 2-2, and sending Italy home, despite their 2-1 victory over Bulgaria.
Portugal plays against Hungary at home, and will probably win, but in the last two matches, both Sweden and Denmark will have easy matches, at home, that they will probably win. Nevertheless, Denamrk and Sweden have very good players, so it`s not such a big surprise that they will probably go to South Africa next year.

As you all know, England is already qualified for the WC 2010 in South Africa. The Capelhave maximum points after 8 matches, and an impressive +26 goald difference, scoring 31 goals ! After missing Euro 2008, with Steve MclLaren as manager, England hired one of the best managers football has ever had : the italian Fabio lo. And the results came off immediatly.
Ukraine is curently fighting for the second place, with real chance of obtaining it; the only thing they need is a victory against the unbeaten england. They have two points less than Croatia, and also, one match less. The last match is against Andorra, so Ukraine should have no problem, while Croatia will play against Kazakhstan, so probably three points for them.
This will be a very interesting match ; England, SPain and Holland are the only teams with maximum points so far, so this is available for all 3 : they will struggle to end the group with maximum points. On the other hand, Ukraine fights for the second place, with real chances, everthing being up to them. This may result in a match with many goals.
